The Seed Oil Free Alliance is transforming the food supply by certifying Seed Oil Free CPG brands and restaurants, raising awareness about excessive seed oil consumption, and supporting healthier alternatives.

Pricing
- Certification Cost: Based on annual revenue and available in 1, 2, or 3-year terms. No additional charges for SKUs or locations.
- Testing Fee: $400 per distinct oil or refined fat used.
- Implementation Grace Period: Licensing term starts when the seal is printed on packaging.
Eligibility
To qualify for the seal, foods must not include: Canola (rapeseed), Corn, Cottonseed, Flaxseed, Grapeseed, Peanut, Rice Bran, Safflower, Soybean, Sunflower, Interesterified Oils and Fats, or Partially or Fully-hydrogenated Oils.
Certification Process
Become Seed Oil Free Certified in less than a month
- Eligibility Check: Ensure foods contain no refined seed oils like soybean, corn, canola, sunflower, etc. Use our eligibility tool or schedule a discovery meeting.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement: Protect sensitive company details with an MNDA.
- Application Submission: Complete the web-based application with product details.
- Application Review: We review and confirm pricing based on your revenue and ingredient testing fees.
- Licensing Agreement: Execute the agreement and pay the licensing fee deposit and $400 per distinct oil or refined fat used.
- Lab Testing: Receive a sample kit. Results take about two weeks.
- Certification Approval: Get certified if ingredients are pure. If not, work with us to resolve issues or request a refund of your licensing fee deposit.
- Announcement Support: Get help with positioning, messaging & graphic design to announce your brand’s unique “Seed Oil Free Story.”
